The Mass of the Lord’s Supper at 7:00 p.m.

The Liturgy today celebrates the death of Jesus.  We recall his Passion and his dying, which he did so that we might be  redeemed and have eternal life in heaven.  The Church mourns her Savior.  This is a day of fast and abstinence for all Catholics.

Fire and darkness, word and water, hope and fulfillment come together on this Holy Night.  This is Easter, which celebrates what Christ has done for us and is a time to renew our sacred commitment to Christ.
