Holy Week Mass Schedule
Holy Thursday, March 28, (no 7:00 a.m. Mass)
The Mass of the Lord’s Supper at 7:00 p.m.
We commemorate the Last Supper of Jesus wherein the Eucharist and the Sacrament of Holy Orders were Instituted. In imitation of Jesus we celebrate the washing of feet. As the ritual takes place we are asked to recommit ourselves to lives of loving service.
Good Friday, March 29, (no 7:00 a.m. Mass)
The celebration of the Passion of the Lord, 3:00 p.m., Confessions following 3:00pm Service.
Stations of the Cross at 7:00 p.m.
The Liturgy today celebrates the death of Jesus. We recall his Passion and his dying, which he did so that we might be redeemed and have eternal life in heaven. The Church mourns her Savior. This is a day of fast and abstinence for all Catholics.
Holy Saturday, March 30, (no 4:30 p.m. Mass)
Easter Vigil, 7:30 p.m.
Fire and darkness, word and water, hope and fulfillment come together on this Holy Night. This is Easter, which celebrates what Christ has done for us and is a time to renew our sacred commitment to Christ. This event should see our entire parish family gather as one to celebrate the Feast of the Resurrection of Christ.
Easter Sunday, March 31
Sunrise Prayer Service, 6:30 a.m. at the outdoor Chapel (weather permitting)
Easter Masses in Church at 7:00 a.m.(not 7:30 a.m.) & 9:30 a.m.
An Easter Egg Hunt, sponsored by the HSO, will follow the 9:30 a.m. Mass on the church lawn. Bring your basket!!
