Ste. Genevieve du Bois PSR

Welcome to Ste. Genevieve du Bois PSR. Our program is unique, designed to assist parents to be the primary catechists for their children. Home is where the students first learn of God’s love. Home is where the Faith is primarily taught. We as a Church continually call parents as the primary educators of their children. So, in our parish community we lead parents in this role. 

Our PSR families meet once a month, following the 9:30 AM Sunday Mass. While parents come together for a 50-minute session on topics pertaining to teaching their families the Faith, students in grades 1 through 6 meet with grade-level catechists to review and discuss the curriculum. Students in grades 7 and 8 meet weekly on Monday evenings after school with a catechist throughout the school year.
